Alisa Asbury is a multi award winning artist from Georgia.
Her style of singing has become a fan favorite in the south, as she delivers power packed vocals with an earthy soul.
Alisa has received numerous industry and fan nominated awards including "Favorite Gospel Artist" in Georgia, by "Georgia-Country.Com" for 2 years.
She has won state & international awards such as "Female Vocalist of the Year"
& "Female Entertainer of the Year" & "CD of the Year" by the
"Georgia Country & Gospel Music Association" and the "North American Country Music Association International".
Performing in such prestigious venues such as Dollywood, Six Flags Over Georgia, The Country Tonight Theater, Opryland Hotel, The Georgia Mountain Fair and TBN, Alisa has definitely made a name for herself as someone to watch in 2012 in the Southern Gospel music scene.
She is currently preparing to launch her 2012 major city Gospel tour with her brand new label, "Morning Glory Records".
Alisa started "Morning Glory Records & Entertainment" with the help from her producer & mentor, the legendary Eddie Crook.
Eddie recently produced Alisa's cd titled, "My New Journey" and it's expected to hit Gospel radio in the spring.
Alisa has devoted many years to helping up and coming artists. She has guided their careers and shown them the best way to get a good start in the music industry. She has helped promote scores of concerts for these unsigned artists, as well as mentoring hundreds of kids & teens, to try to help build a bridge to the youth with her experience and guide them through the in's and out's of todays music industry.
For the past 6 years, Alisa has been the president of the "Georgia Country & Gospel Music Association" which is a non-profit organization devoted to assisting unsigned artists and to helping raise money for many charities across the southeastern states.
In 2011, Alisa also added to her resume', the role of President for the "Tennessee Country & Gospel Music Association" and hopes to build it and do for their members, what she has done for her home state of Georgia.
Alisa feels it is now time for her to step out and promote herself. She says that for many years, she has put her own dreams on the back burner, while helping all the kids she loves, as well as many adults who never got to perform out in public until the Georgia Association provided them a platform to do so.
